There is a significant amount of roadway construction occurring in front of and near the Animal Shelter. FM 511 has been closed and a new road has been opened, creating some confusion. While one would previously be able to see the facility from FM 511, driving on the 'NEW" FM 511 will have you on a new road that passes just north of the old FM 511, creating a situation were it may be impossible to see the shelter.

New Road Signs have been added  to assist in locating the facility.

Please look for these and similar signs to help guide you as you drive on FM 511:
