Olmito Elementary School (Los Fresnos CISD)

Home of the Ocelots!

March 4th, 2009.

Miss. Rio's 4th Grade Class collected $100 by selling dog biscuits and presented their donation to Brownsville PAWS founder Honorable Mayor Pat Ahumada along with volunteers Casey VanAtten, Joe Carvalho and Tiger, a canine citizen, accepting the funds on behalf of the whole group and homeless pets in the area.

Teenage member Daniel Ramos, 14, pictured with his mother Elvira Ramos, was the recipient of an award for his volunteer work in saving homeless pets.
