If you have lost a pet, please send your contact information, where the pet was lost, the pet's description and photo to our webmaster. Please include any special information such as if your pet is taking any medication, has medical conditions and if you are offering a reward for her/his safe return. IMPORTANT: Be sure to call and visit all the local animal shelters (including BARCC) in the area. Generally your pet, if taken to a local shelter may only be kept there three (3) days before they are euthanized (put to sleep) due to an ongoing overcrowding problem at most shelters. Do not delay! Please personally visit each shelter and keep returning each day until your pet is found. Be sure to visit shelters in neighboring cities as pets are often dropped off at "the city next door" when found by someone who happens to live closer to the "next" shelter. You should consider advising all the pet rescue groups in the area (several are listed in our "Helpful Links" area) so that they can "keep a look out" for your pet. You should also consider taking a "Lost" poster with a picture and description of your pet to local groomers and area PetSmart™ and PetCo™ stores which generally have a "Lost and Found" bulletin board at the store entrance. Be sure to put up these posters in your neighborhood as well and be sure that your neighbors are aware. Please consider contacting the local newspapers in your area who will generally publish the information for free or at very little cost. You should also visit these sites which you should find helpful: Additionally, we will gladly post the information on our site (here) to help you reunite with your pet!
